How can I write on a PDF file on Google Drive?
It’s somewhat possible, but not satisfactory or practical. Go to your Drive. Find the PDF you want to edit. RIGHT click it, and choose open with Google Docs. This will open the PDF in Docs, and it will be editable. But you will quickly notice some problems. No, not small problems. The formatting will be a nightmare, not even close to the original. Graphics will be missing completely or replaced by a nonsense jumble of characters. If you really want to stay in your Google Drive, it’s actually easier to create a new doc, import graphics, match the fonts and formatting as close as possible… Essentially make a clone of the PDF rather than trying to edit it. When you are done, Google Docs allows you to download any open Google doc as a .pdf, or .epub, or several other formats. For now, the best way I personally know to edit PDF’s is NOT one of the many online services. I prefer using a paid solution, on my Windows machine. Phantom. There are also free - but not very user friendly - solutions, like Inkscape.
PDF documents can be cumbersome to edit, especially when you need to change the text or sign a form. However, working with PDFs is made beyond-easy and highly productive with the right tool.

Or Adobe Acrobat, though many online PDF editing solutions will allow you to import the PDF as a regular image file. And while I am sure some will not… The point is… I prefer to use a professional PDF editor, because the more professional the PDF editing software, the more likely I am to have my work critiqued and improved upon by a professional. There are very competent, well-respected professionals that create all kinds of PDFs. The most notable among them is, of course, Adobe. But we will get into that topic shortly.
