How I can download Calypso by David Sedaris ebook PDF for free?
Download Book = Calypso by David Sedaris PDF FreeIf you love David Sedaris’ writing, I promise that his newest book of stories entitled CALYPSO will make you laugh, perhaps cry a tiny bit, and love him even more (which I didn’t know was possible), and wonder how can a grown man have the imagination of a child (a slightly twisted one) at times, anthropomorphize foxes but not think it necessary for him to be locked up, realize that his siblings share the same language and sick sense of humor and should be crowned as our own American royalty because their humor is so badass, and I am still holding out for a Sedaris family documentary written by David, starring David, directed by David but equally starring his father, sisters, his partner Hugh, and bit roles to Hugh’s mother and sister, as well as his brother Paul’s wife and daughter must be playing Sorry! as they do so well and absolutely get producer credit. If you need me, I’ll be re-reading CALYPSO. When you finish it and want to talk about escapades at his house in Sussex, their family trips to the beach on Emerald Isle, or when he and his sisters go shopping in Tokyo, think of me as your go-to virtual book club member.
Where can I download Silent No More: How I Became a Political Prisoner of Mueller's "Witch Hunt" in PDF?
As seen on Tucker Carlson Tonight, Hannity, and CNN!In Silent No More: How I Became a Political Prisoner of Mueller’s “Witch Hunt”, New York Times bestselling author of Killing the Deep State Jerome R. Corsi, Ph.D. meticulously details the psychological torment he was subjected to in what the media has simply called, “The Mueller Investigation.”In late 2018, in an FBI closed conference room with no windows, Dr. Corsi was confronted for hours upon hours at a time by detailed questioning about events that occurred in 2016. Dr. Corsi’s inquisition was worthy of the Gestapo or KGB, designed to break even the most cooperating witness. Over a period of two months, three of Mueller’s top prosecutors and an army of FBI agents—up to nine government officials at a time—questioned Dr. Corsi with his attorney, David Gray.Throughout this harrowing ordeal, Dr. Corsi handed over his personal computers, his cell phone, all of his email accounts, his Twitter account, and his Google account. Finding no “smoking gun,” Mueller’s prosecutors blew up the meetings. Dr. Corsi refused to lie to the prosecutors to give them the ammunition they needed to prosecute Roger Stone, and as a result he was told he would be charged with a criminal offense for lying to the FBI and the Special Prosecutor. At seventy-two years of age, Dr. Corsi was subjected to extreme mental anguish, imagining that he may never see his family again as a free man.Rather than conducting an honest investigation, Mueller’s Special Prosecutors reinforced a prefabricated narrative aiming to charge President Trump with Treason. Silent No More: How I Became a Political Prisoner of Mueller’s "Witch Hunt" exposes the inner workings of this governmental escapade, and clearly states why Mueller has no case against the President.Dr. Corsi creates a compelling case indicating that the entire matter is an investigation in search of a crime—to force lying testimony from witnesses if that’s what it takes to achieve Deep State political objectives.
GURPS: Do you think the current incarnation (PDF) of Pyramid magazine is worth the subscription (or cover) price?
No.The previous version of Pyramid, the v2 HTML-based version published weekly, was well worth the yearly subscription for anyone serious about roleplaying gaming, as it contained many articles that were either not specific to one RPG rules system, or that had material with stats for one system (almost always GURPS), but which could easily be used in other (serious and simulation-based ) systems. The articles (much like the 3rd Edition supplements for GURPS) very often dealt with real-life phenomena - present day ones such as law enforcement or espionage agencies (The CIA in Gaming, The FBI in Gaming), or ones from the medieval, classical, renaissance or Wild West/Victorian/Steampunky past. Some of the historical articles, mainly the ones by S.E. Mortimer (a pseudonym) impressed me greatly when I first read them, but re-skimming them later they were often 3–4 times as detailed as any tabletop RPG campaign would ever need (by which I mean a serious tabletop RPG campaign taking place in an actual world, not one featuring the incoherent escapades of a gang of spelunking murderhoboes). The other historical articles, however, tended to be very good, especially the ones written by Quora writer Matt Riggsby.Matt also edited the truly excellent Omniscient Eye series of articles, each answering a question sent in by a subscriber, including two from me.One was about the use of minted silver (coins) vs hack-silver and the risk of debasement, in the early medieval period (Matt answered that one himself, and both he and I were pleasantly surprised by how highly the majority of the subscribers rated that article). My other question had to do with how different species of trees would develop different personalities if given permanently intelligent minds via magic (a potential concern in any magic rich fantasy tabletop RPG, even the not-at-all serious D&D 3rd Edition has the “Awaken” spell!). I wasn’t at all sure what method Matt would use to help me, or if he even could. I accompanied my question with a quite lame suggestion to maybe look into medieval or Greek poetry, or some of Tolkien’s (a famous dendrophile) more obscure writings.Instead Matt did something truly brilliant and enlisted the help of a tree ecologist, to derive personality types based on the various ecological niches that various species of tree occupy.Wow!Other Omniscient Eye questions, sent in by others, dealt with potential life on alien planets, what colours alien plants might have, and so forth. Truly good stuff, it was like Quora for tabletop GMs, but sadly Omniscient Eye was born towards the end of the v2 version of Pyramid, and only something like 10–15 articles ever got written.Pyramid v3, published in PDF and at a much higher cost, has very little relevance for people like me who have chosen to GM a system other than GURPS.Extremely few articles are non-system-specific.The rest are all about GURPS, and many of those delve deep into the arcanities of GURPS (the Ritual Path Magic magic system seems to be very popular, and then there are the ultra-detailed articles about how to calculate the damage done by a bow or crossbow, or getting deep, deep into GURPS’ Wrestling/Judo mechanics) to the point where nothing of that content logically can be translated from GURPS to another similar (i.e. serious) system. There are still a few good issues, although usually with just 1 or 2 worthwhile articles in the given issue, including articles in the Low-Tech -themed issues by Matt Riggsby. However, I am completely unaware of anything similar to the good old “The FBI in Gaming”-articles, let alone Omniscient Eye.Those are dead, not coming back.Much like GURPS 4th Edition itself did, but even more so, Pyramid Magazine has retreated from the real world, from research-intensive material with a historical or crime/spy thriller campaign relevance (and eminently useable by people who have chosen not to GM GURPS), and to something that closes in on itself.Do look into buying individual issues. The two medieval ones have some nice and very relevant stuff for low-tech worldbuilding. The Action-themed issue also has some nice stuff for expanding the scope of the GURPS Action line (for which I have quite some fondness), although sadly no real-world stuff (no MI5 and MI6 in Gaming). But subscribe? No!I’d advise you very strongly not to.Spend those money on other things, such as purchasing individual GURPS PDFs from Warehouse 23, so as to do your part to encourage Steve Jackson Games to bring back the 3rd Edition era of well-researched supplements with real-world RPG relevance. There once was a time when Steve Jackson ascribed value to intellectual prestige. Upon the publication of the first version of GURPS Bio-Tech, Jackson (whom I am not on a first name basis with) was on the record as saying that he hoped it would be regarded as a valuable resource by science fiction authors. That was then.Today, it is a different tune. Today it is 100% pure capitalism. Give the audience what they want.Pursue the almight dollar.Pay no heed to anything else.Completely ignore the notion of intellectual prestige.
