How did Bhavesh Mishra make notes for the UPSC (CSE)?

I think there are 5 effective ways to make history hand written notes. 1) SEGREGATE Segregate the various topics from history. For ex- British Education policy/Press/Labour reforms/ and so on. It will help in memorizing the data very efficiently. This strategy helped me a lot. I have attached the image of my British Education policy notes. See, I have concise the 8-10 page of data into just one page. 2) MNEMONICS Try to learn smartly because it will help you to mug up more data and thus will boost your confidence. You will find other students struggling with huge information of history like dates/ years/ Dandi march/ Mughal policy etc. Use mnemonics to remember these facts. For Ex. In the image, I made a mnemonic for 1857 revolt, Jainism, economic critique (upsc prelims 2015) 3) WATCH MOVIE For beginners, Watching related movie (Once only) will create a picture in your mind which will supplement you in making and studying your notes. T will also motivate you in your preparation. There are 5 movies, where name of real characters were used, which will surely help you in history preparation. Enjoying your preparation is very essential. These movies will help you in this also. Listen carefully to each word in these movies. > Chittagong > Gandhi (1982) > Rang de Basanti > The legend of Bhagat Singh (Ajay Devgan) > Bose the forgotten hero 4) NOTES ACCORDING TO LINEAGE It is important for history that you make your notes according to the timeline (Lineage). It is important because upsc has asked questions regarding time line of the events (See below image). Such notes will also help you in understanding the complete sequence of the events. In the image given below, I have made a sequence of press reform under British, that only on 1 page. You can paste this on your wall (looking at it daily) and you will see the result. 5) CHARTS Preparing a topic through Charts will help you in eliminating the options in actual exam. Make chart when there are 2-3 similar and confusing topics. Through charts you can compare and remember the facts about all the 2-3 topics. For Ex. in 2017, a tough question was asked in prelims about ryotwari settlement (see image below), but I was able to answer it correctly because I have prepared it through the chart of settlement (see image below). I hope you will follow this methods while making your notes. Thank You!
